TAYLOR BRAITHWAITE

Taylor was raised in Aiken and attended South Aiken High School.  After graduating from The Citadel and law school at Mercer University, Taylor began active duty as a Marine Corps Judge Advocate and served as both a prosecutor and defense counsel.  During this time, Taylor tried more cases to a jury verdict as sole or lead counsel than many attorneys try in their entire careers.  Taylor returned home to Aiken and transitioned to the Marine Corps Reserve, where he was recently promoted to the rank of Major and continues to serve as a Civil Affairs Officer and Team Leader today.

Taylor is a member of the South Carolina State Bar and also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
